Please be aware this is a standby role as we are fully recruited currently, you will be sent overseas when a vacancy becomes available. 

Working a winter in childcare as a Pepi Nanny with Crystal Ski is a great way to use your childcare qualification in the exciting environment of a ski resort.

You will be working with a team in one of our kids clubs, caring for our youngest customers ranging from 6 months – 4 years in our Pepi Penguin Club. We want all the children in our care to have a safe and fun holiday and you are responsible for providing a stimulating, caring and safe environment to the highest standards. Pepi Nannies can also be employed as Crystal Private nannies in the customers chalets, at times you may also be needed to help care for the 4-11year old children in the Whizz Kid Club.

Pepi Nannies need to be qualified in childcare to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, hold a valid First Aid certificate and be CRB screened. Previous experience in childcare and the package holiday environment is an advantage. Being able to ski is not crucial but a desire to learn will mean you have a fantastic winter season.

Requirements

Essential

NVQ 3 or equivalent in childcare

Valid First Aid certificate

Passion for childcare

Excellent interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic and positive manner

Ability to work unsupervised with a strong attention to detail

Team player

Desirable

Second language in either French, German or Italian

Previous experience of working in a ski resort or package holiday environment

Previous work experience in childcare
