Alpine Navigations is a small independent chalet company offering catered accommodation in chalets in Les Gets and Morzine. Our 2 catered chalets are each run by a team of 3 and we have 1 remaining position for a chalet couple. We pride ourselves on being a small independent company where quality and service is paramount.

1 x Chalet Couple:

We are looking for a chalet couple to be responsible for preparing meals for up to 17 guests; we expect one of the couple to have either proven cooking experience or to have attended a chalet cooks course. As a couple you will be responsible for the shopping, budgeting, preparing and serving of breakfast, afternoon tea and a 4 course evening meal to your guests. Food is a very important part of our business and we are looking for cooks with skill, flair and personality! You need to be confident to cook for a variety of people of different ages and with different dietary requirements. You will be solely responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen and will also be required to undertake cleaning in all other areas of the chalet. You will be assisted in the serving of meals and cleaning of the chalet by an assistant who is also the ski guide for the chalet.

We are looking for a team of staff who have friendly characters and are comfortable chatting and socialising with guests. We are not looking for an individuals who shut themselves away in the kitchen but instead people who want to embrace the chalet experience and enjoy every aspect. Each individual role is specific to each chalet but everyone needs to work as part of a team as sometimes situations arise when everyone needs to adopt a “hands on” approach and help each other out.  You must be hardworking and conscientious but also be able to create a fun chalet atmosphere in a professional manner. You must have very high standards and take pride in both your appearance and your work. We and our guests expect our chalets to be spotlessly clean.
